In the final week of Graphics class we entered a contest to make a design for the Reggae International Poster contest. In my piece I included to basic ideas of reggae. A lion and the Jamaican flag. I overlaid a Jamaican flag on a lion which symbolizes reggae. This is my last blog post for the year. It makes me kind of sad to know that this is the last one but I had a great year. This was my favorite class of the year without a doubt. Thanks to all my classmates and my teacher who made it a great year.

Here is the final Monster tutorial project. I am very proud of how this turned out. It was very interesting to take the different skills of our group members and how the different styles merged into one monster piece. I am extremely happy with how this turned out and very thankful of my group members. I am also very proud of our group because even though the image didn't turn out exactly the way we wanted it to, we persevered and finished the piece. Stay tuned for next week's post.

I did not make this graphics piece. I found this very amazing image online. Our group finished the monster tutorial project, but I do not have the final image. The piece that we made turned out very well, and I am proud of what we accomplished. I love this piece above because it has so many minute details that you have to look extremely close to see. Stay tuned for next week's post.

This is week 2 of the apocalyptic monster tutorial. We are still working hard to get it finished. The picture above is the tutorial that we are following, but we are changing it with our own style. This project has been interesting to work with other people and attempt a more complex tutorial. I can't wait until we finish. Stay tuned for next week's post.

This week I teamed up with 3 other people in my Graphics class to create a apocolyptic scene with the Hulk smashing down buildings. We got this idea from a photoshop tutorial online. It took the artist 18 hours to create it, so we decided to team up to get it down more quickly. Here is what we have so far. I think this will turn out great and I'll update you on the final piece when we are finished.

Since my first animal morph turned out really well I decided to do another one. This is a mixture between a crow and a panther. I finished this piece in a short amount of time, but I still think it turned out well. Since the year is almost over I want to concentrate on my pieces more to get the most out of them. I hope that I can make some more quality pieces before the end of the year. Stay tuned for next week's post.

It's a Mirage. This piece is based on a car commercial in the desert when the two people on the left see mirages and don't believe them, so I put a sailboat in the dessert. My first intentions were do a tutorial where there are tons of sailboats in the sky but it deviated to a sailboat in the desert. I then made a biplane draw the words from the commercial in the sky. I am happy with how this piece turned out. Stay tuned for next week's post.
